"The final game of the opening round for the girls sees three-seeded Wauneta Palisade (5-6) taking on six-seeded Hitchcock County (5-8). These two have also met prior to this upcoming tournament game on Jan. 5 and it was the Falcons winning game 51-42. The winner between the Falcons and Broncos will face the winner of Wallace-Paxton in the second round at Maxwell at 7:30 p.m. central on Jan 22."
"The final matchup for the boys on the west side sees seventh-seeded Wauneta Palisade (0-11) facing off against two-seeded Dundy County Stratton (10-3). This tournament matchup will be the second time that these two teams will play each other. They met on Dec. 5 at Dundy County Stratton where it was the Tigers cruising to a win 63-12. The winner of that contest will play against the winner of Paxton-Maxwell on Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. central time at Maxwell High School."
